SONY to Release Dead Man Walking Concert

Sony Home Video / BMG will be releasing the DVD of "Not in our Name - Dead Man Walking: The Concert" in conjunction with the re-release of the film's highly acclaimed soundtrack album which features such artists as; Eddie Vedder, Lyle Lovett, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Steve Earle, Michelle Shocked, Dave Robbins and Nusrat Fate Ali Kahn. The DVD features; Eddie Vedder & Jeff Ahmet of Pearl Jam, Lyle Lovett, Ani DeFranco, Tom Waits, Steve Earle, Dave Robbins, John Densmore, (The Doors), Nusrat Fate Ali Kahn, Dildar Hussain, Tim Robbins and Sister Helen Prejean.

"This is one of those special nights that will never happen again," said Tim Robbins prior to the sold out show at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The evenings' presentation was produced by ActiveMusic and boroadcast live on the Internet by Alan Ames and Associates and Worldlink, but has never been seen by the general public untill now.

Dead Man Walking is an important piece of work, The right for life is an important cause, and "Not in our Name - Dead Man Walking: The Concert" is an important program which focuses the entertainment community's concern for a more humaitarian solution to the existing death penalty embraced by politicians and our current administration.
